This policy explains how DorBeats handles personal information when you browse the site, create an account, upload or share music, use community features, or subscribe to a paid plan. For privacy questions or requests, use our Contact page.

• Account and profile information: your email address, account identifier, display name, profile URL, avatar, bio, and profile visibility settings.
• Content and activity: uploaded audio and artwork, file details and track metadata, collections, favorites, upvotes, comments, connections, shares, messages, and notifications.
• Billing information: your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, subscription status, and billing events. Payment details are submitted to Stripe; DorBeats does not store your full payment card number.
• Technical information: sign-in and session records, which may include IP address and browser information, plus server logs used to operate and troubleshoot the service.
• AI artwork and support: prompts and generated images when you use cover generation, and information you include when contacting us.

We use information to sign you in, maintain your account and music library, deliver playback and sharing, enable conversations and community features, generate requested artwork, process subscriptions, enforce usage limits, respond to requests, prevent abuse, and diagnose service problems.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you for requested services, legitimate interests in operating and securing DorBeats, legal obligations for required records, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent for a consent-based use by contacting us.

Public profiles, public tracks, and comments on public content can be seen by other visitors. Profile information may also appear in community features such as connection suggestions. Review the visibility settings available for your profile and tracks before publishing.

When you share a track with another user or send a message, the recipient receives the content and associated account information. Recipients can retain or copy what you share. Changing visibility or deleting content cannot remove copies already held by others.

We use providers for website hosting, database and file storage, search, email delivery, and payments. These include Stripe for billing, Resend for sign-in emails, and Cloudflare R2 for uploaded files. Providers receive information needed to perform their part of the service.

If you request AI cover art, your prompt is sent through OpenRouter to the selected image-generation provider. Its processing is also subject to the providers’ policies. Avoid putting personal or confidential information in prompts.

We may disclose information when required by law, to investigate abuse or protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations.

DorBeats uses cookies to maintain sign-in sessions. We also save preferences in your browser, such as theme, player volume, playback processing settings, and library view. These settings help the site remember your choices between visits.

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser. Clearing them may sign you out or reset preferences; blocking session cookies can prevent account features from working.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide your account and requested services, maintain required billing and legal records, resolve disputes, and address security or abuse issues. Retention depends on the type of information and the purpose for which it is held. Deleted information may remain in backups until those backups are replaced.

We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information. No online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Keep access to your email secure and do not share your sign-in links.

Our providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, international transfers are subject to safeguards under applicable law.

You can edit profile details, manage track visibility, and remove your uploads using the available account and library controls. Manage billing through your account’s billing portal.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. To request account deletion or exercise a privacy right, contact us from the email associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Legal and security obligations may require us to retain some records.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

DorBeats accounts and paid plans are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
